Treatment Options
The right treatment will depend on the severity of a patient’s symptoms and their unique condition. At Las Vegas Primary Care, patients may obtain treatment that includes joint and soft tissue injections, pain management therapy, and occupational medicine.
Joint and soft tissue injections, such as epidural injections, piriformis injections, sacroiliac joint injections, and trigger point injections, may help alleviate pain caused by soft tissue injuries.
Pain management therapy encompasses a range of treatments, such as hot and cold therapy, massage, acupuncture, tai chi, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication, opioids, deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, meditation, cognitive behavior therapy, yoga, antidepressants, and beta-blockers.
Patients with severe long-term injury and illness may have difficulty performing daily tasks and workplace responsibilities. In these cases, occupational medicine could help patients adjust to the demands of the workplace as they obtain long-term treatment for their injuries.
Staff at Las Vegas Primary Care are also trained to help businesses adapt the workplace to the physical limitations of injured or ill employees. Occupational medicine can help both employers and injured employees create a long-term plan for accomplishing workplace tasks and supporting the employee
Advanced Treatment
Some patients may need advanced treatment to address injuries and illness. Advanced treatment may include chiropractic adjustment, physical therapy, and even surgery. Patients are encouraged to speak to staff at Las Vegas Primary Care to learn more about obtaining advanced treatment.
